Pioneering researchers in Cambridge Independent

Dr Ian McGough, Dr Teresa Rayon, Dr Jon Houseley and Dr Maria Christophorou were featured in the Cambridge Independent, highlighting their newly funded Pioneer Award projects. 

The projects will widen our understanding of how toxic protein aggregates form (McGough lab), explore how developmental time is set in different species (Rayon lab), look for novel ways to tackle drug-resistant fungal pathogens (Houseley lab) and investigate the possibility that cells talk to each other using an unknown signalling pathway (Christophorou lab).
