Jo is a senior research scientist whose work focusses on autophagy-related signalling and cancer cell cannibalism.

She also chairs BI Green Labs, coordinating environmental actions, talks and mentoring.

Jo has held a Marie Curie fellowship, L'Oreal/UNESCO For Women in Science award, Churchill College by-fellowship and BI Berridge Prize.
