Sarah completed her PhD. at University College London, before moving to The Howard Hughes Medical Institute at Stanford University as a postdoctoral fellow with Chris Goodnow working on the molecular events involved in B cell tolerance. Sarah returned to the Wellcome Trust Immunology Unit at the University of Cambridge to work with Doug Fearon before moving to The Babraham Institute in 1999. As a Senior Research Associate in Martin Turner’s group her main research focus is using conditional mutagenesis to investigate the role of RNA-binding proteins in immune function.
