The Babraham Institute presented its 2016 research summary in the Institute's first Annual Research Report (pdf). Through this collection of research articles from each Group Leader and Facility Head, the report highlighted new discoveries in each area and achievements during the year. It revealed how our scientists are making progress and contributing to research that could support healthier ageing.
Some key advances are explored in depth through research features within each of the Institutes four research themes. These features explore single-cell technologies in epigenetics, the role of B cells in the immune system, how cells recycle molecules through autophagy and what we can learn from studying the genome in 3D.
