The Babraham Institute (BI) is a charity world renowned for its research in life sciences to enhance lives and improve wellbeing.

The purpose of this exciting role is to provide project management support for the Institute’s equality project equality4success.

BI holds an Athena SWAN Silver Award in recognition of its commitment to advancing women's careers in research. In addition BI, together with institutes from the EU-LIFE consortium, are partners in a European Horizon 2020 project, LIBRA, to promote gender equality in research and innovation.

The post-holder will be educated to PhD level or have equivalent experience ideally in the biological sciences, with a strong interest in equality and diversity. Experience of project management would also be advantageous.

The post-holder will be proactive, enthusiastic and enjoy building productive working relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders including scientists, funding bodies and international partners. 

The post is offered for 3.5 years in the first instance. The post-holder will be able to work flexibly where possible; however, travel is a key requirement of this position and s\he must be able to attend UK and international meetings on occasion. Job-share applications will be considered.

Starting salary is £30,751 to £34,500 per annum (depending on experience)
