Finance Assistant Apprentice

We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant Apprentice to join our busy Finance Department as part of our plans to build the team for the future. Studying towards the AAT qualification (level dependent on experience), you will gain valuable on the job experience whilst undertaking a variety of finance and accounting duties. In return, you will receive excellent benefits, AAT study support and funding, as well as longer term career development.
Reporting to the Management Accountant, you will be involved in various roles within the Finance Department including Accounts Payable and Receivable, External Grants and completing general finance tasks.
We are looking for an individual who;
  • Has a desire to gain an AAT qualification and progress their career in a finance role;
  • Is educated to GCSE level in Maths and English (or equivalent);
  • Has strong attention to detail and can handle information confidentially;
  • Is able to work as part of a team and independently within a busy and varied environment.
This is an entry-level role and is an excellent opportunity for anyone who is keen to start or further their career in finance. This is initially a fixed term contract for 18 months whilst studies are undertaken.

Apprenticeship rate is £6.12 per hour.
