Svetlana Sakhnevych

Svetlana completed her Master’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technologies at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy). After finishing her PhD in Cancer Biology at the University of Kent (UK), she moved to Claudia Ribeiro de Almeida’s group at Babraham Institute. Her postdoctoral project is centred on the identification of novel RNA-binding proteins and their functions in early B cell development.

In addition to scientific interests, she enjoys playing and listening to music. After completing her Master’s Degree in Violin at the Conservatory of Naples (Italy), she has had the pleasure to work in several orchestras in Italy and UK.
