Andrew Malcolm

Andrew was awarded his B.Sc. in Biology (Development, Regeneration and Stem Cells) from the University of Edinburgh in 2017. He then moved to Cambridge to join the Wellcome Trust Four Year Ph.D. Programme in Stem Cell Biology at the Wellcome-MRC Stem Cell Institute. He completed rotations on various projects including the regulation of pluripotent fate transitions, liver regeneration and the regulation of zygotic genome activation, culminating with the award of an M.Res. in Stem Cell Biology from the University of Cambridge in 2018.

Andrew joined the Babraham Institute as a Ph.D. student in October 2018. Andrew studies how epigenetic mechanisms inform cell fate decisions spanning human pre-and-post implantation using human pluripotent stem cells.
