Rabab Nasrallah

Rabab gained an Honours in Medical Sciences from the University of New South Wales in Australia before undertaking her PhD studying the transcriptional regulation of embryonic stem cell differentiation into the hematopoietic lineage under the joint supervision of John Pimanda at the University of New South Wales, and Georges Lacaud and Valerie Kouskoff at the CRUK Manchester Institute. Her work established a novel role for Endoglin in early haematopoietic development and the patterning of tissue-specific enhancer activation that drives appropriate induction of haematopoiesis. Rabab’s work in Rahul Roychoudhuri’s group aims to understand how extrinsic signals modulate transcription factor function within lymphocytes to dictate the outcome of immune responses.
