Francis Grant

Francis graduated from the University of East Anglia in 2011 with a B.Sc. in Biological Sciences with a year in Industry. His thesis explored how key intracellular signalling mechanisms control T cell function during adaptive immune responses. His subsequent work in the Industrial sector contributed to the development of novel therapeutics that target T cell signalling mechanisms to treat autoimmune disease. Francis is now undertaking a PhD in Rahul Roychoudhuri’s lab, exploring how transcription factors cooperate to control the stability and function of regulatory T cells.
