The science of Equality and Diversity: A first-hand accountIn this talk I will approach gender diversity in academia from two complementary angles.
I will discuss the current state of play regarding the science of equality and diversity, and how we might use behavioral insights to improve the culture of academia.
Moreover, I will provide a brief first-hand account of pursuing an academic career in alongside parenthood, special needs caring duties, and balancing family and career life with a successful partner.
