Weapons of Microscopic Destruction at the Brighton Science Festival

Researchers from the Babraham Institute will be teaming up with the British Society of Immunology to bring the ‘Weapons of Microscopic Destruction’ exhibit to the Bright Sparks Weekend at Brighton Science Festival on the 13th and 14th February.

The exhibit, which was selected and showcased at the Royal Society Summer Science Exhibition in 2015, explores your immune system, the special army of cells that project you from pathogens – germs- that can cause disease.

Try your hand at our phagocyte gobble game and see how many you can catch.  Enter the world of antibodies and discover how the body can make over 10 billion different types.  You can also make your own antibody to take home.
