Michaela Pucci

Michela gained a Bachelor’s degree in 2014 in Biological Sciences from University of Benevento (Italy) her research focused on pancreatic stem cells. She graduated in 2017 with a Master’s degree in Health Biology from University of Bologna in the Department of Experimental, Diagnostic and Specialty Medicine- Histology, Embryology and Applied Biology Unit, under the supervision of Dr. Mattia Lauriola. Her work aimed at unravelling the role of inflammatory cytokines in mechanisms of resistance to monoclonal antibody therapy. Michela gained an ERASMUS scholarship to work in the Roychodhuri group characterising molecular and cellular mechanisms of tumour immunosuppression.
