During first few years of the MAC lab, while based in Edinburgh, we were lucky to work with a great team of people at all levels of their training. Here is who they are and what they're up to currently.

PhD students:

David Hay completed his PhD in 2019 and is now a research associate in Richard Meehan's lab at the MRC Human Genetics Unit, UK.

Thomas Cummings completed his PhD in 2020 and is now a postdoc in Yogesh Kulathu's lab at the MRC Protein Phosphorylation and Ubiquitylation Unit, UK.

Postdocs:

Christine Young trained with us as a postdoc before going on to a position in industry.

Vinay Bulusu was a visiting postdoc and now is an Assistant Professor at the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research in Berhampur.

John Russell worked in the lab as a visiting postdoc. He is now working in the lab of Emma Rawlins at the Gurdon Institute, UK. Research Assistants:

Abigail Hunt was the first person to join the lab in Edinburgh and now works in the lab of Javier Caceres at the MRC Human Genetics Unit, UK.

Denitsa Spasova worked with us as a research assistant before moving to a possition at ArrayJet, where is is currently a Senior Application Scientist.

Undergraduate students:

Gavriil Gavriilidis carried out his Honours project in the lab before starting a PhD at Oxford University, UK.

Ioanna Milliaronikolaki worked with us for her Honours thesis before moving to a Masters degree programme in Greece.

Divya Ravinder carried out her summer internship as an MIT student, as part of the MIT International Science and Technology Initiatives (MISTI) programme. After graduating from MIT, she took up a consultant position at McKinsey & Co.

Will Godfrey carried out an internship with us while he was an undergraduate student at the University of Queensland. He is now working as a research assistant at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
