Sixth Form Conference – Immunology: From Research to Health

Calling all biology teachers and sixth form students!

The Babraham Institute is excited to announce that it will be hosting a conference for students aged 16 – 19 on Wednesday 15th October!

The conference – ‘Immunology: From Research to Health’ will explore the scientific, ethical and commercial aspects of this exciting and ever-evolving area of biomedical research.  Building on the sixth form curriculum we will explore immunology from the basic concepts and current research to its implications in healthcare and industry. The day-long event will give students an opportunity to interact with academic, clinical and industrial immunologists and will involve a mix of talks, workshops, lab visits and careers networking.  Conference materials and lunch will also be provided. The conference will run from approximately 10:00 (registration 09:30) until 16:00.

Places are limited and allocated on a first-come first-served basis.
